Belleville Facility Achieves 7 Years without an OSHA Recordable Injury, Recognized as “Best in Class”

The Belleville Facility, which consists of Wayne Disposal and Michigan Disposal, is proud to share a significant milestone for our team and our community, achieving seven consecutive years with zero OSHA recordable injuries.

In addition, our site has been recognized as “Best in Class” in the TSDF/Landfill category across Republic Services locations nationwide — an honor that reflects the consistency, discipline and commitment of our employees.

Safety is not a one-time initiative at the Belleville Facility. It is embedded in our daily operations — from morning safety meetings and ongoing training to equipment maintenance, environmental safeguards and peer accountability. Achieving seven years without an OSHA recordable injury requires focus at every level of the organization and a culture where every employee looks out for one another.

For our neighbors and community partners, this important milestone represents a facility that operates with professionalism, care and a clear commitment to doing things the right way. Strong safety performance is directly tied to operational excellence and environmental responsibility.

We are grateful to our dedicated team members who make this possible every day. Their commitment ensures that the Belleville Facility remains a safe workplace and a responsible community partner.

We look forward to building on this achievement in the years ahead!
